Mylor Bio Launches New-Generation Sweeteners NaSweet-C & NaSweet-X for Optimized Coil Compatibility and Sweetness Profile.

At Vaper Expo May 2025, Mylor Bio showcased its NaSweet series of professional vapor sweetener solutions, featuring NaSweet-C tailored for ceramic coils and NaSweet-X designed for cotton coil devices.

On May 9, 2025, Mylor Bio Co., Ltd. unveiled its latest R&D achievement at Vaper Expo May 2025: the NaSweet series of professional vapor sweetener solutions. This series features two innovative products: NaSweet-C, designed for ceramic coils, and NaSweet-X, compatible with cotton coil atomizers. They are engineered to address common challenges with traditional high-intensity sweeteners in vaping, such as delayed sweetness and lingering aftertaste, thereby enhancing the overall flavor experience.

Current Challenges with High-Intensity Sweeteners in E-liquids

Common high-intensity sweeteners used in e-liquids, such as Neotame, Advantame, and Neohesperidin Dihydrochalcone, often suffer from issues like slow sweetness onset, prolonged sweet aftertaste, and even metallic or bitter off-notes. These drawbacks significantly compromise flavor naturalness and vaping comfort.

Furthermore, sweetness perception is influenced by aerosol particle size. Ceramic coil devices, which generate smaller aerosol particles, typically exhibit weaker sweetness, often necessitating higher sweetener usage. This, in turn, increases the risk of dry hits and burnt taste. Conversely, cotton coil devices, with their larger aerosol particles, deliver stronger sweetness but are more prone to issues of sweetener residue.

The industry commonly employs a blend of multiple sweeteners to improve the overall sweetness profile or balance the flavor. However, due to the inherent sensory flaws of high-intensity sweeteners, blending alone struggles to replicate the sweetness characteristics of natural sugars, particularly in terms of sweetness naturalness and aftertaste comfort.

Mylor Bio's Targeted Solution: The NaSweet Series

Since its establishment in 2019, Mylor Bio has dedicated itself to flavor chemistry research. Addressing the sensory properties of high-intensity sweeteners and the structural differences in atomization devices, and leveraging sweet taste receptor modulation mechanisms and aroma-induced taste regulation technologies (including OITE and OITS), we have developed the NaSweet series: NaSweet-C for ceramic coils and NaSweet-X for cotton coils, as targeted sweetness solutions.

NaSweet-C: Enhanced Sweetness Release for Ceramic Coils

Developed specifically for the vaporization characteristics of ceramic coils, NaSweet-C utilizes a sweet taste agonist combined with Odor-Induced Taste Enhancement (OITE) technology to regulate sweetness perception. At equivalent usage levels, it achieves a 52% higher perceived sweetness intensity, a 50% improvement in sweetness naturalness, and a 24% enhancement in aroma intensity compared to Neotame. In application testing with a Strawberry Ice e-liquid, NaSweet-C delivered a more balanced sweet-and-sour profile and a more layered sweetness experience. Regarding thermal stability, NaSweet-C showed no coil gunking or off-flavors even after 1,500 puffs in a ceramic coil device, demonstrating consistent flavor performance.

Notably, NaSweet-C is Sucralose-free, preventing structural damage to the heating film and avoiding the undesirable flavors associated with gunking or burning, thereby enhancing long-term device compatibility and user experience.

NaSweet-X: Accelerated Sweetness Perception for Cotton Coils

Designed for cotton coil devices, NaSweet-X employs a sweet taste antagonist combined with Odor-Induced Taste Suppression (OITS) technology to modulate sweetness perception. Test data shows that, compared to Neotame, NaSweet-X offers a 73% faster sweetness onset, a 33% reduction in sweet aftertaste duration, a 47% boost in aroma intensity, and superior overall sweetness-aroma integration. Furthermore, its Tmax (time to reach peak sweetness perception) occurs 11 seconds earlier, significantly mitigating late-stage sweetness residue and resulting in a cleaner, more harmonious vaping experience.

The launch of the NaSweet series marks another significant advancement in Mylor Bio's integrated "Device-Flavor-Sensory Pathway" modulation model. These two sweeteners address the differences in sweetness release efficiency inherent to ceramic and cotton coils, establishing more targeted sensory solutions.

Live Expo Reception and Industry Attention

At the expo, the NaSweet series attracted significant attention and inquiries from numerous visitors and professional buyers, thanks to its exceptional sweetness performance. Its technical approach, which precisely addresses industry pain points and significantly enhances the sensory experience, received positive feedback on-site.

Mr. Zhu, R&D Representative at Mylor Bio, stated on site, "This embodies our relentless pursuit of enhancing e-liquid taste naturalness and user comfort. We firmly believe that through continuous technological innovation, we can deliver more authentic and enjoyable taste experiences to global users."

Behind the Innovation: Rigorous R&D

Mylor Bio (Mylor Innovation Lab Co., Ltd.) assembled a dedicated 20-member R&D team, led by experts with PhDs in Flavor Chemistry, for a 9-month development cycle. The project accumulated over RMB 2 million in R&D investment, involved 286 iterative tests, gathered more than 1,500 sets of sensory evaluation data, and validated performance through 13 key metrics before launching the NaSweet series.

Key outcomes include NaSweet-C, which provides an average 52% higher perceived sweetness intensity than Neotame, with a clean, natural aftertaste free from bitterness, specifically for ceramic coils. NaSweet-X modulates sweetness perception to achieve a 73% faster onset, with superior overall flavor and comfort, specifically for cotton coils. The NaSweet series establishes a new paradigm for future e-liquid formulation development.
